'Only four photos received the awards, chosen among more than 14,000 pictures, to the 6th edition of the National Geographic photo contest. It has been not easy for the jury, but at the end here is the verdict: it was imposed in the category People from Florence Edoardo Agresti, a professional photographer, with an image taken in Vrindavan in India during the Holi Festival: Agresti was stationed on the balustrade of the temple ("I wanted to pick up, I had to beg them," he says), where he took this charming moved with an exposure time of 1/3 of a second.' Not a journey, but settled on a workshop on reportage photography in one of the most fascinating places in Africa. 11 days to develop a photographic project under the supervision, guidance and suggestions of Edoardo Agresti (recent winner of National Geographic Contest Italy) assisted by Stefano Agresti Pesarelli (recent winner of the National Geographic Contest USA). Francesca Guazzo will introduce us to the 'secrets' of the island in order to prepare the participants in the research of their project.
